The Mystery of the Blue Train
Hercule Poirot is on his way to the French Riviera taking the luxurious overnight sleeper, the Blue Train. In the dining car he sits opposite the attractive Katherine Grey who has just inherited a small fortune. When the train arrives at Nice a woman is found dead in her compartment. Katherine Grey identifies her as the woman she met at lunch – Ruth Kettering – but the face has been disfigured almost beyond recognition. And Ruth Kettering’s valuable ruby, and her maid, are missing. Poirot has to stage a re-enactment of the journey in order to catch the murderer.
